Scandinazn Summer Market Dates (& Other Exciting News!)
Scandinazn will be back out and about in August with two market dates!
We had SUCH a good time at the Khatsahlano street event on July 9th, and were overwhelmed by all the positive vibes from festival-goers. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to gaze at our goods, and chat.
Here's what's coming up for us in the next couple months...
On August 13th and 14th, you’ll be able to find us at North Vancouver’s Fun City festival. This festival is part of the Slide the City event (1000 foot long slip n slide, anyone?), and is North Van’s largest community festival, encompassing 8 city blocks, lined with food & artisan vendors.
On August 20th, we’ll be at Vancouver’s first ever Mural Festival. This will be taking place in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood, which will be receiving 35+ new permanent murals, painted over the course of the week. The street festival (taking place on the 20th) will highlight local artists, musicians, and vendors, gathered around the Main & Broadway area, taking place while the murals are in progress.
ALSO...
We are VERY EXCITED to announce that Scandinazn will be a vendor at the Vancouver Made in Canada Etsy Market! This one takes place at the Pipe Shop Building (at Lonsdale Quay) on September 24th and 25th. It’s great being part of an online community such as Etsy, and a great opportunity to meet the people behind some of your favourite local online shops.
